How do I use a spore syringe?

Spore syringes can be used to inoculate a substrate directly or via agar plates for a more controlled approach.

Basic steps:

1. Work in the cleanest environment possible. A still air box is recommended.
2. Flame-sterilise the needle before use.
3. Inject 2-3 ml of spore solution into your substrate or agar plate.
4. Store at 24-28 degrees C and wait for colonisation.

Sterility is everything. One shortcut here and contamination takes over.
