Keep them cool, dark, and dry. A drawer or kitchen cupboard works for short-term storage.
For longer storage (months to years), put them in an airtight container in the fridge. Avoid temperature fluctuations, don't keep opening and closing the container.
Stored properly, seeds stay viable for 2-3 years.
