My plant has discoloured or damaged leaves. What does it mean?

Leaf issues usually point to one of these problems:

  • Yellow leaves from the bottom up: nitrogen deficiency. Increase nitrogen in your feeding schedule.
  • Brown, crispy tips: nutrient burn. You're feeding too much. Reduce dosage.
  • White or bleached tops: light burn. Move your lamp further away.
  • Spots or patches: could be pests (spider mites, thrips) or fungal issues. Check the underside of the leaves.
  • Curling leaves: heat stress or overwatering.

Diagnosing from a distance is tricky. Send us clear photos (top and underside of affected leaves) along with your setup details for a more specific diagnosis.

Send the photo(s) with your order number via our contact form: Contact us.
