For photoperiod plants:
- Not flowering? Check your light schedule. Photoperiod strains need 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness to trigger flowering. Any light leak during the dark period can prevent it.
- Flowering too early? The plant may have been exposed to long dark periods too soon, or it experienced stress that triggered early flowering.
For autoflowers:
- Autoflowers flower on their own timeline regardless of light. If they flower very early, the plant may have been stressed (transplant shock, overwatering) which stunted its growth phase.
